When did you start your Instagram Channel?
I had this for my personal use but made a business account from 2018 October.
How did you decide on what to name your Page? ( Her page name is Bowtie and Lipsticks)
This is an interesting story so bowtie_and_lipsticks I wanted to keep a name that works even when my son grows up bowtie is Veer and he can wear a bowtie when he is big man too and just in case I plan for a second baby and that’s a girl so bow would be she and tie would be Veer and [su_highlight background=”#fffa99″] I am lipsticks [/su_highlight] .
Why did you decide on Parenting, lifestyle, fashion, travel?
These are my niche and being mom blogger this was important and rest was all that I did prior I started blogging on Instagram.

I started with share a review as photo initially use hashtags and @ mention for more exposure.
Recently I am doing videos for content on my story for a product review.

The days are very hectic as managing everything by me is too exhausting by end of day.
Instagram Publishing Schedule
Do you publish everyday? How many posts? At what time and how do you decide on the time to post?
I post from Monday to Friday Saturday and Sundays are off. I check the time of most engagement and then I post so its mostly at 12 pm or 8 pm.
How are you able to manage family, instagram, work, friends?
That’s really a tough job. I am on Instagram when my son is asleep as he doesn’t like me with the phone.
I choose to do Instagramming when he is not around me. The rest of my time is dedicated to him.
I left my job for him so 100% to him is my priority. He is 20 months knows many things like alphabets capital and small, fruits, vegetables, animals, numbers etc.
How do promote your Instagram page?
How much time goes in promotion versus writing? Is there a schedule?
Writing takes most of my time as if there is any interference I tend to lose my focus. Promotions are usually through boosting my post with a minimal amount.
How to work with brands?
Do we contact them or do they contact us? How to ask them and what do they expect from us? Do you send them some stats?
Brands contact me almost all the time. If it is a paid collaboration brands expectations increase with the quality of content and photos.
They don’t usually ask for stats however they check your page so I would suggest don’t buy followers as they sometimes ask insights of your page too.
How much do you earn from Instagram and in what ways?
It is not always a paid collab I do you have to be flexible with barters also. Post amount totally depends from brand to brand from [su_highlight background=”#fffa99″] 3k to 5k [/su_highlight] and some brands pay 10k too. Events are where you earn the most coz that’s most of the time 5k plus. And the complementary hampers sent by brands on special occasions.
In your opinion how should we fix our rate chart?
Depending on the brand [su_highlight background=”#fffa99″] you should have a media kit [/su_highlight]. Yes this is applicable only when you have followers above 10k with good engagement rate and insights
How many years does it take to make money? Do you need a particular number of followers to make money?
Yes, it takes a lot of effort to start earning. 5k followers is the minimum number required to start earning.
How to increase followers ( can you explain a few steps or methods?)
Good content and engaging with your followers by liking and commenting on their post and people usually tend to give that favour back and especially if you are starting up for the influencers you follow comment and like their post so after some time you will surely get a follow back from them.
